The ancient knife workshops in Scarperia
- The fine craftsmanship in the creation of knives has made the town of Scarperia famous. Walking along the streets it is possible to admire the final creations of the craftsmen, as well as the actual process of making the knives, from the forging of the blades to the assembly of the handles. It is also possible to request the creation of personalized knives.

The Chianti Rufina Wine Road
- The Chianti Rufina wine road begins a few kilometers away from the farmhouse. The wine road takes visitors to prestigious wine producers in the area (such as the Marchesi Frescobaldi vineyards and Fattoria di Selvapiana and many more) where you can taste the scents and fragrances of the various types of wine. It is also possible to buy directly from the producer.

Town festivals, typical products and fairs
- Each municipality has its own town festival, sometimes even the smaller towns have their own, each with its own theme. The “Infiorata di Scarperia” celebrates the arrival of Spring while Borgo San Lorenzo and Vicchio hold livestock fairs, with public auctions of the animals. You shouldn’t miss the numerous town festivals where it is possible to taste local typical products and breathe in the life of the town.
